Weekend Adoption Event #2: February 4th & 5th
We are welcoming Karma’s Rescue again, for our second weekend adoption event! From now on we will be hosting adoption events the first weekend of every month (unless a holiday gets in the way). The adoption event for February will be Saturday, February 4th from 11am-4pm and Sunday, February 5th from 12pm-4pm.
This weekend they will be running a special on adoptions. Dogs and puppies will be $125 and adult cats will be $50. Now is a great time to add a new member to the family! Also, our adoption sponsor, The Pitch, is going to add adopters names into a drawing for concert tickets! Pretty cool!

Slick – DOB 5/2011
Slick is a belly-rub con-artist. He will do ANYTHING to get a belly rub. He gets along with everyone and loves to be held. He has a very good nature.
Alice
Alice is such a sweet little baby and loves snuggling. She’ll be sure to purr and let you know! She has a lovely orange coat and big, green eyes.

Into the New Year!
The beginning of 2012 has been good for us here at City Pets! We have added a second groomer, had our first adoption event of the year and received one of the biggest fresh water fish shipments ever!
We are happy to welcome Brownie Miller into our City Pets family. She has been brought on as our second full-time groomer and has over 8 years of professional grooming experience. Grooming will now be available 7 days a week thanks to the addition of the second groomer. Of course, Kelly is still here rocking it out like she always does. Check out our grooming page to learn how to make appointments with either of our great groomers.

The start of the year also brought with it the new schedule for our Adoption Events. We will now be hosting adoption weekends on the first Saturday and Sunday of each month and hope to beat our record 52 adoptions in 2011 by reaching our goal of 100 animals in new homes by the end of 2012. On January 7th and 8th we hosted Karma’s Rescue and sent home 14 pets! A big thank you to our awesome customers and all the loving hands at Karma’s for making this happen. Our next event with Karma’s will be February 4th and 5th. Check out some of the great photos of happy adopters and their new family members!
The other exciting news to start 2012 off with is that we received one of the biggest freshwater fish orders in the history of City Pets. Our freshwater department is stocked full of beautiful fish ready to help fill up your aquarium. We have all sorts of interesting African and South American cichlids, stunning tetras and even have some great specials on a few types of live bearers! We hope that you will come by and check them out!

Poe is a black and white domestic medium haired cat who is sweet as could be! He is a very gentle boy and loves to play with children. In addition to kids, he also gets along with cats and dogs.
Hali – DOB July 2011
Hali is a sweet calico girl that gets along great with other cats, dogs and kids! She loves spending time playing with her cat toys and gets very excited when she gets a new one!
Flash – DOB 6/9/2011
Flash is a fearless explorer and is always investigating and loves to tell you all about it.
Grayson – DOB July 2011
This little boy loves to snuggle and give kisses. He is so handsome that his image is going to be used in a worldwide flea prevention ad campaign! Why not add this super model to your family?

Foxy is an unregistered purebred corgi. She loves people and will cuddle right up to you. She gets along great with other dogs, but cats are still unknown.

Jackie is a sweet kitty with a loving yet shy personality. Once she warms up to you you will always have a snuggle buddy!
Otis – DOB 5/25/2011
Otis loves kids! He is very mellow but loves to please. He gets along fine with other dogs and cats.
Reesa – DOB 2008
Reesa is a schnauzer/terrier mix who gets along with dogs and cats. She needs to go to a home without children, as she is scared of them. Older children are fine.
Savannah – DOB March 2011
This little girl loves to cuddle! She loves to give kisses and is very outgoing and social.

Labor Day Holiday
