If you follow us on Facebook, you will know that we have recently set up a new tank behind our counter at the store. It is a 120 gallon freshwater tank, heavily planted with live plants. We designed this tank as a home for discus. Along with the four discus, it houses: silver hatchet fish, neon tetras, German rams, upside down catfish, corydoras, otocinclus, a bristlenose pleco, and a pencil catfish.
If you haven’t had a chance to swing by the store and take a look, you really should. The plants are thriving and the fish seem happy; we’ve even had a pair of the German rams lay eggs already!
City Pets is hiring! We are looking to add to our City Pets team! If you are interested, please bring a resume by the store in person (no emails please) that includes:
- Previous job experience
- Pet experience (professional or hobbyist)
- Contact information
Open availability is a plus as we are looking for employees that can work weekdays and weekends, but we often work with special scheduling needs of college students.
Come join us Friday, November 29th and Saturday, November 30th for our first ever Holiday sale!
