Who wants a Poodle?

September 19, 2008 at 10:13 pm

I will assume that EVERYONE does, because I know I sure do!

Remember this funny mop-dog of indiscernible breed or type?

Rosie the Miniature Poodle has been with us for a while at City Pets waiting for her perfect new home. Today we took the plunge and took her to a groomer to tidy up that floppy, moppy, silly puppy hair-do she had and got her a REAL Poodle clip! You wouldn’t believe what we found under all that hair!

It was a Poodle!

We took Rosie to Pampered Paws Grooming at 72nd and Wornall, right next to our favorite vet, Hecker Animal Clinic! The folks there did a WONDERFUL job getting Rosie trimmed, fluffed, teased and shaved. Look at how beautiful she is! I can hardly believe it’s the same dog. :)

This new happenin’ hair-do is sure to find Rosie a great home fast. I wish I had room for her in mine!

Come visit Rosie today!

These little guys are called American or Florida flag fish. It is in the killifish family and loves to eat hair algae.
