What about the Basilisk?

December 27, 2008 at 7:58 am

This little dude needs a home for the Holidays, too! This Basilisk has been at the store waiting for someone to come scoop him up. The Basilisk, also known as the Jesus Christ Lizard because of their ability to run so fast they can move across the top of water, is a tropical lizard from South America. Our little guy loves eating crickets and hiding in his fake foliage, as seen here!

He would thrive in a terrarium with lots of hiding place and high, tropical humidity! A few bugs every now and then would keep him satisfied, and what a cool and interesting pet to have!

If you have a terrarium that you think would be suitable for Mr. Basilisk, or you would like to learn more about his care, come in today and talk to us! We would love to find him a home for life!
