Cool Colombian Boa!

February 24, 2009 at 8:56 pm

Hey! Our Reptile department is clearing out pretty quick of all of those cool reptiles we got recently. ALL of the Red-claw Scorpions and Green Iguanas are gone! Half of the baby Ball Pythons have found homes, too! Our Colombian Red-tail Boa is still here and he is beautiful and doing awesome! He came out to eat a meal yesterday and afterwards he was pretty excited and moving around his enclosure. I got these cool pictures of him perching on his cork bark. I think he thought I was another little rodent!

Stop by and see this beauty today!

Now at City Pets: Dubia roaches. These are a great alternative to crickets or worms as a protein source for reptiles. We have assorted sizes and they are 50¢ each or 12/$5.00 Fire bellied toads in this week too. Got some great looking lionhead goldfish in too. These little guys are called American or Florida flag fish. It is in the killifish family and loves to eat hair algae.
