Cairn/Poo and Cav go home!

What a lucky time for puppies!

Our little girl Cavalier has found a home, just one day later than her brother. :) We were both very happy AND sad to see them both go, but they got such great homes! Check out this little girl with her new family!

Who’s the biggest sweetie? I can’t tell!?

And finally our little man Cairn/Poodley guy got his home today! His new family includes a 120-pound Golden Retriever and a big kitty named Walter! This sounds like a cool family and I’m so happy our puppy is going to be a part of it! :)

There are just a few pups left here at the store! Come see these sweet babies today!! :D

Summer Fun!

There’s lots of cool stuff happening at City Pets in spite of this wicked heat!

Scooby is all ready for sunshine in his sweet new Doggle shades!

What a cutie!

This little Cairn/Poodle mix went home with her family just in time for some fun in the sun. What a great time to have a puppy! And what a good excuse to get outside and enjoy the weather! Don’t forget this little girl’s two brothers are still at the store waiting for their homes, too!

And our sweet, sweet baby Umlaut went home with her new family just yesterday! I hope she is doing well. She is the sweetest bird I have ever met in my life! We’ll miss you, Umlaut!

There’s plenty of other neat stuff happening at the store, so be sure to come by and see us! Stay cool!

So Many Pups Find Homes!

Wow! It’s the time of year to get a puppy or two, it seems! We have sent home five puppies in two days!

First to go home was our little Cairn/Poodle mix. She was only here for a day or two! Her new owners had found a dog in their neighborhood, but the dog’s owners were found and they returned their new friend to it’s home. But our Cari-poo looks just like the dog they gave up and they had to have her!

Then, in the same day, some folks who had been eyeing our CUTE CUTE Shih-tzus stopped by to make the big decision! In a wonderful surprise, they chose BOTH! These ladies are neighbors and now these sister puppies never have to be too far apart! That makes me very happy!

And finally, our two lady Dachshunds went home together! Sweet gentle Ida, and silly Virginia will be together forever! Dachshunds are always better in twos! What a good-looking group!

There are still plenty of WONDERFUL puppies waiting for their new homes here at the store! Please stop by today and meet your best friend for a life-time!

Puppies go home!

I’ve got a couple of stories here! First is Mario the Corgi. He went home a couple weeks ago! Mario (We called him Zeus at the store…) was here for about a month and a half and we all got to know him and love him. We were both sad and happy to see him go. :) Here is Mario with his great new friends!

Next! Blink-and-you’ll-miss-her! This Cari-Poo (Cairn terrier/Poodle mix) was only here for a second! I hadn’t even gotten around to putting her up on the Available Puppies page! We hadn’t gotten to know her at all (Except that she was terribly cute!) and now she already has a great new family! :)

Congratulations to both of you puppies, and the people you’ve found, too! :)

Doogie goes home!

Check out this little terrier dude!

Doogie is going home to a household with another Cairn Terrier. In fact, Doogie’s big brother Shubby is actually his big brother! That’s right! Since the boss’ brother breeds our Cairns, Doogie and Shubby came from the same parents and are really brothers! How cool!

Good luck you little terrier terrors. Come in and drive us crazy sometime!

Plus, don’t forget that Doogie’s brothers, Flip and Buster, are still at City Pets, waiting for their perfect homes! Come visit today!

Puppy Visitors!

Oh my goodness! It has been a good time for doggy visitors at City Pets. I love doggies. :)

This is Maestro! He is an English Bulldog and he is a SWEETIE. We have a photo of Maestro on our bulletin board behind the desk from the olden days of film-cameras and we get so many compliments on what a handsome dog he is. We were so surprised to see how BIG he has gotten in the meantime! He probably weighs 50 pounds! Big boy! Good Maestro!

This Cairn Terrier is Shubby! He was “one of ours” and we’re always pleased when our puppies come back to visit. :) Shubby came in to visit his three little brothers and he was very excited about the trip! Shubby’s little bros are still waiting for their good homes. Please come see them!

And here is Willow! Willow is a fantastic Shetland Sheepdog who came from City Pets. She is a great girl and is very friendly and playful. I could not get any pictures of her beautiful face because she was much too interested in absolutely everything else that was going on in the store, including following her “boy” around. :)

Thanks for visiting you guys! I love you all!

Madison’s First Birthday!

Madison the Yorkie had her first birthday recently, and we were glad to be part of the fun! Michelle baked a delicious doggy birthday cake and brought a special visitor, our little boy Cavalier King Charles Spaniel! She also took some pictures of the fun!

Here’s the birthday girl, Madison! She looks awfully pretty in her pink dress and sparkly hair barrette!

With Michelle’s delicious cake! I hope there was people food there, too! :)

Our Cavalier was a special guest, and he loved the treats and company! Maybe Madison made a special birthday wish for him, because this pup found himself a permanent home just a day or two after the party! His name is Wrigley… Look for his home-going picture on later posts!

The guests had lots of fun… Here are Sasha and Madison enjoying themselves on a nice sofa!

‘Roz’ the cairn terrier was a pleasant guest!

Wrigley made a good impression on everyone!

What a special day for Madison and all of the other lucky dogs!

If you are thinking of having a special event for your pooch, be sure and let City Pets know and we can help you organize party favors, doggy treats and cakes, and help come up with fun activities! So have some fun, and let us help!

Party on, dudes!
